Ah, Desai. Smell all that lovely air.

All these people. Different times, different worlds, different dimensions too, I'd wager. And look at them all. One place, together. Coexisting.

And looks like I'm just in time. It is November, isn't it? Haven't missed it have I?

Tra'delai. Just the thing to clear the head. Like a good cup of tea. Oh, tea. That does sound fantastic. I think I'll get some. Where was that Tea Shop. I know it's around here somewhere.

Now, assuming I'm right, and I usually am, well, almost usually, well... The point is. I am looking for the lovely lady Desai. I have a proposition for you, dear lady. If you can be bothered to drop by and chat with an old friend.

Ah, yes. I suppose if wishful thinking is to be considered better than productivity, holidays are a godsend. Huzzah, etc.

Wishes, dreams and hope are what make life so worth living. They move people forward. Without dreams and aspirations, nothing would get done. Nothing would ever move forward.

They're just as vital as imagination.

Imagination is vital, I'll give you that. And aspirations, without them we'd all lie in bed and die. But holidays foster false hope. It's pathetic. How many people do you think actually reach their dreams? Virtually none. Little Billy realizes that he can't really save the world, so he settles for wishing for a beer every night. How admirable.

And for the rest of us, those who do have ambitions, what good is the holiday, really? It doesn't get us any closer to our goals. If anything, it distracts us.

Distractions are good for the mind. Help us recharge.

And there is no such thing as false hope. Hope is always true. It may not always help, but it is the truest thing there is.
